What is the GT3 class?
GT3 is a racing class in which specially prepared sports cars from different manufacturers compete against each other. This means you can see Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG, Lamborghini, McLaren and Aston Martin racing together on the same track.
GT3 cars compete in numerous racing series and events around the world, including IMSA, GT World Challenge and endurance racing. Since 2024, cars built to GT3 regulations have also competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMGT3 class.
GT3 doesn't always mean a GT3 race car
Having “GT3” in a car's name does not necessarily mean that it belongs to the GT3 racing class. Porsche is a good example: the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 RS are road cars, while the Porsche 911 GT3 R is a GT3-class racing car.
That's why this collection includes only models representing GT3 racing cars, rather than every car with GT3 in its name.
