What is IMSA?
IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) is an American motorsport organization best known today for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Its races bring together cars from several different classes, ranging from prototypes to GT racing cars.
Some of the best-known events on the calendar include the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. IMSA cars also compete at circuits such as Road America, Watkins Glen and Laguna Seca.
Different classes, one IMSA collection
The IMSA collection isn't limited to a single type of racing car. It includes both GT racing cars and prototypes competing in IMSA-sanctioned events.
This means that some models can belong to more than one Skala64 collection. A GT3-class car competing in IMSA, for example, can be part of both the GT3 and IMSA collections.
